Heath grew up in Wangaratta, country Victoria, before moving to Melbourne to study Prosthetics and Orthotics. He graduated at the end of 2013 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters in Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics. Heath moved to Sydney in March 2014, where he helped serve the Central and South-Eastern Sydney region for their Prosthetic needs. He then joined the APC team at Northmead in April 2016, before taking a 2 year sabbatical, where he worked at an outpatient amputee rehab centre in Crystal Palace, London.
Through his various roles Heath has gained a broad range of experiences where he specialises in Microprocessor controlled knees, Osseointegration and complex prosthetic management. Heath returned home to APC in August 2019 and currently attends Westmead Amputee Clinic in the role of transfemoral specialist. Heath loves the challenge of being able to help problem solve and brainstorm ideas to overcome prosthetic problems in the ever changing prosthetic landscape.
