Joel grew up in Mullumbimby, NSW before moving to Brisbane and then Melbourne. In his hometown, Joel worked as an apprentice sheet metal worker and was involved in projects ranging from kitchen fit outs to sculptural work. Joel graduated at the end of 2020 with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters in Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics at La Trobe University.
Outside of prosthetics and orthotics, Joel’s interests include rock climbing, woodwork and leatherwork. Joel joins the APC Central Coast team as a new 2021 graduate and looks forward to expanding his prosthetics knowledge. Joel currently attends the Woy Woy and Wyong Amputee Clinics.
