Starting out as a small practice of just 4 employees, APC has grown to a staff of 40 employees today. We have been fortunate to employ a tremendous group of talented and dedicated people over the years, whether they be administrative, clinical or technical personnel.
In 2016, APC expanded further with the opening of APC Alexandria, a new modern facility located in Alexan-dria, NSW. Perfectly located near Sydney Domestic and International Airports and the Sydney CBD, the estab-lishment of the Alexandria Clinic was important to make it more convenient for our interstate and international clients to access our services. The Alexandria Clinic provides comprehensive prosthetic services and employs the latest prosthetic technology and solutions for the amputee community.
The addition of APC Hunter in Newcastle was established in 2007, enabling APC to provide prosthetic services to the amputee community in the Hunter and Newcastle region. Ron Wright was the founder of the APC Hunter Clinic, capably supported by a senior team; Ian Robertson, Brian Murphy, Ben Wright and Kelly Fu. We were fortunate to find a group of people in Newcastle who had perfectly symmetrical values and aspirations as APC, who joined us to establish the Hunter branch.
