Meet Our Northmead Team

Fiona Barnett

Managing Director

Fiona rejoined APC in 2011 to assist with clinical development and took over the role of Managing Director at the start of 2013. Her client-focused perspective on providing clinical services comes from her diverse international prosthetic background. Following her graduation in 1992, from LaTrobe University, Fiona has worked in a variety of clinical situations. Initially starting out as a Prosthetist/Orthotist in Tasmania, then moving to the UK & working for five years as a clinician with Blatchford’s, and nearly two years as a clinician and educator in Vietnam with the International Committee of the Red Cross. Prior to coming back to APC she worked in clinical education and marketing for an international prosthetics company – managing Australia/New Zealand.

“At the end of the day, everything we do here at APC is focused on ensuring that our clients are getting the best possible outcome – that is, the outcome that meets their everyday needs. For some this is about being able to get around their house, for others, it is about working to win gold medals and then there is, every possible permeation in-between. No matter what our client’s goals may be, our entire team is focused on helping them to achieve it.”
