Nick has over nine years clinical experience as a Prosthetist, having first taken an interest in Prosthetics in High School in the Northern Central Victorian town of Boort, where he grew up. The opportunity to work with people and provide a service that would make a positive difference in people’s lives, coupled with a career of working with his hands, held great appeal. In 2004 Nick graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics. Soon thereafter he moved to Sydney, working for Premier Prosthetics where he had the opportunity to attend amputee clinics in metropolitan areas as well as on the Central Coast, Coffs Harbour and Dubbo. He has been exposed to a wide variety of clinical experiences and enjoys the challenges that every new client brings. In March of 2013 he joined the team at APC Prosthetics where he has begun servicing the Amputee Clinics at Hornsby Hospital and the Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney in Ryde. He is a strong believer in finding the best prosthetic solution to match the need of the individual client and, where possible, utilize the latest technology to improve their outcomes.
